So what that looks like is an optometry practice with $1260 average dispense value, clients that love us and rave about us and recommend us, and clients that we love serving, clients that value what we do, a $1.4 million practice, a fantastic team that loves what they do, and they enable me to run the show from a distance, I’m in the practice once or twice a week, I get to live where I want to live in the countryside, miles away from the practice, I get to be home, see my kids, ride my bike in the middle of the day, run with the dog, not work weekends, take 8 or 10 weeks of holiday without any loss of revenue.
That was all by design. And that is the opportunity for you starting today.
I just described my ideal practice and work life balance that I am extremely happy with. But that is not your vision. The goal is for you to figure out what you want, and you design it, and find a way to make it happen.
Here is the only rule:
You can have what ever you want. As long as you deliver enough value to the market place.
The market doesn’t care about what you want or what I want. It only cares about value.
